Iris Sandoval-Flores, of Emporia, was sentenced Friday to 12 months’ probation after pleading no contest to charges stemming from two criminal cases combined under a single plea agreement.
Sandoval-Flores was one of seven individuals arrested in April in connection with identity fraud, theft, and allegations of practicing dentistry without a license. She originally faced multiple felony and misdemeanor counts across two cases. Under the plea deal, she pleaded no contest to one count of dealing in false identification documentation and one count of theft. Prosecutors dismissed additional charges of human smuggling, identity theft, and unlicensed dentistry.
If Sandoval-Flores violates the terms of her probation, she faces a nine-month underlying sentence.
