SARNIA – The Ursuline Lancers wanted more than a win.

They wanted to redeem themselves in the LKSSAA senior football final, not only for this year’s regular-season loss to St. Patrick’s but also for last year’s title-game defeat to Northern.

“It’s a lot about redemption and a comeback,” Lancers quarterback and linebacker Sawyer Emmott said. “Everybody loves a comeback story, don’t they?”

Emmott wrote a winning tale Friday with three short touchdown runs in a 33-13 victory over the previously unbeaten St. Patrick’s Fighting Irish at Norm Perry Memorial Park.
