HOUSTON — Good news for George Strait fans hoping to catch his West Texas Stadium concert next spring. He's adding another show at his stadium tour back to the Lone Star State, where it all began.

"By overwhelming demand, George Strait is adding a second night in Lubbock, TX on Friday, April 24," the X post says.

Zach Top and Dylan Gossett will be the opening acts for Friday's concert at Jones AT&T Stadium, home of the Texas Tech Red Raiders, in Lubbock.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, fellow Texans Miranda Lambert and Hudson Westbrook will open for Strait .

Presale tickets for both shows went on sale today at 10 a.m. Regular t ickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 21.

In June 2024, of course, Strait thrilled a sold-out crowd with the first-ever concert at Kyle Fiel
