Kent Police arrested a 50-year-old Auburn man for investigation of first-degree robbery after he reportedly displayed a gun to get cash from a Kent espresso stand.

Officers were dispatched at about 6:45 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 16 to an espresso stand in the 1700 block of Central Avenue South after a report of a robbery, according to a Nov. 17 Kent Police Facebook post.

A 29-year-old Milton woman told officers that a man had ordered a coffee, then pulled out a black gun and demanded money, according to police. She said she handed him money from the till and that he left in a white car. She said she was very shaken up and believed the man would shoot her.
