The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced the end of all flight reductions at major U.S. airports, effective Monday at 6:00 a.m. after a lengthy government shutdown caused significant aviation disruptions.

The FAA had previously reduced operations at certain airports by 3 percent to manage staffing shortages amid the shutdown.
