The City of Hope has partnered with the Salvation Army’s Newnan Center in an effort to combat growing food insecurity in Coweta County.
Since 1865, the Salvation Army has worked to serve the underserved and meet the needs of local communities. The Newnan Center, located at 670 Jefferson St. Extension, will mark its 30th year of service in Coweta County in 2026.

The food pantry is open from 9:30 a.m. to noon every Tuesday and Thursday. Since June, the number of recipients has grown from an average of 7 to 8 people per day to 25 to 30 p
