The Big Sky Conference has suspended several officials who made an incorrect call at the end of the Idaho Vandals' game against Sacramento State Saturday night.
Idaho was leading Sac State 20-16 as the final minute ticked off the clock.
A Sacramento State receiver caught a pass inside the red zone, but appeared to have one foot out of bounds.
Officials ruled it a catch and replay did not overturn the call.
Sacramento State scored on the next play and won the game 23-20.
Monday, the Big Sky Conference put out a statement, saying "It is evident that incorrect judgment was applied to this play. The Big Sky acknowledges and regrets this error in officiating, and as a result has suspended multiple officials who worked that contest."
With the loss, Idaho dropped to 4-7 on the season.
