Former UNO men's basketball players Cedquavious "Dae Dae" Hunter has discussed his role in a gambling probe that resulted in he and two other players receiving lifetime bans from the NCAA .
Hunter was one of three former UNO players players banned for life after the NCAA deemed that they "violated ethical conduct rules" for their involvement in a point-shaving scheme. In an interview with "Good Morning America" on Monday, Hunter spoke about the scheme and admitted to participating in it.
Hunter revealed that he would "point-shave" and "shoot the ball without actually trying to make it. Like make a couple (of shots), then miss couple."
Hunter said that he and other UNO players were approached by an unidentified bettor in Las Vegas. Uncovered text messages from teammate Dyquavian "Jah"
