Scottsdale’s senior director of Communications and Public Affairs has abruptly left the position.

The city announced on Feb. 13 that Kelly Corsette was leaving his job the next day.

Corsette spent 15 years with the city and has over 30 years in public service.

He did not say what his plans are for the future.

Public affairs supervisor Holly Peralta will serve as the interim senior director of Communications and Public Affairs.
