The Surprise Parks and Recreation Department is opening registration for its a two-week winter break camp for kids in kindergarten through seventh grade.
The camp runs from Monday, Dec. 22 through Friday, Jan. 2, but it will be closed for Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Campers will participate in daily activities, arts and crafts, games and sports from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. each weekday at Sierra Montana Recreation Center, 14861 N. Spring Lane.
Surprise resident registration begins Monday. The cost is $30 per day and a one-time $10 registration fee for each camper.
Registration for non-residents begins Monday, Nov. 24. Out-of-towners will pay $34 per day with a $30 registration fee for every child.
