SULPHUR, La. (KPLC) - One person was arrested and another is wanted for breaking into vehicles at a Sulphur business, deputies said.
Deputies responded to a report that someone had broken into multiple vehicles at an East Napoleon Street business and stolen items from them on Nov. 5, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Kayla Vincent said. Deputies identified a suspect vehicle from surveillance video.
Detectives found that the truck had been stopped several times within the past few months, and Venia M. Rodriguez, 43, of Sulphur, was driving or riding in the truck each time. When detectives visited her home on Nov. 10, she admitted to the burglaries and was arrested, Vincent said.
