Two separate fights break out at Renton Memorial Stadium

Two different fights broke out at the Renton Memorial Stadium over the weekend, the Renton Police Department confirmed.

Renton police officers were called to respond to a fight occurring in the stadium’s parking lot Saturday. Multiple guns were involved in the fight.

“They arrived, de-escalated the situation, and detained three people,” the Renton Police Department wrote in a post for social media. “Another suspect fled the scene, and officers located that vehicle and detained the suspect.”

In total, three guns were recovered.

Once that altercation was under control, a second fight broke out within the stadium at a private event. Approximately 100 people attended the private event.

“Officers called for assistance from outside agencies to help secure the scene,” the Renton Police Depar
