Local residents graduate

The College of Charleston recently awarded the following local students undergraduate and graduate degrees at its spring 2025 commencement:

• John Coates, Kingston, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business administration.

• Alexandra Wilson, Kingston, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in communication.

More than 1,700 bachelor’s degree and master’s degree candidates participated in the 2025 College of Charleston Spring Commencement ceremony.

Local students named to spring 2025 president’s list

The College of Charleston named more than 2,100 students to the president’s list for spring 2025.

The following local students were recognized:

• Alexandra Wilson, Kingston, majoring in communication
