It all started one night when Kaitlyn Ferrari of Windsor, Ont., saw someone going through her outdoor garbage bin. When she went to approach the individual, they took off before Ferrari could ask what they needed.
"I've always had this idea of doing a community food pantry type of thing," said Ferrari, 30.
