Budgam : Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Monday chaired a meeting to review preparations and awareness activities regarding Armed Forces Flag Day, observed every year on 07 December.

The day holds national significance as it honours the supreme sacrifices, courage, and dedicated service of the Armed Forces personnel, while also mobilising public contributions for their welfare.

During the meeting, the DC highlighted that Armed Forces Flag Day serves as a collective opportunity for citizens to contribute generously to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF), which extends essential support to disabled ex-servicemen, war widows, and the children of martyrs.
