PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria teenager will be tried as an adult for allegedly shooting at a home in August in the East Bluff.
The Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office says 18-year-old Tabias Kelley was also ordered detained at a detention hearing last week. He is charged with Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm.
Kelley was 17 years old when, on August 19th, police responded to a shooting in the area of Virginia and Peoria.
There were no injuries but a home was reportedly struck four times.
The homeowner reportedly identified Kelley as the shooter and that Kelley allegedly called and threatened to shoot the family earlier in the day.
