New York Jets cornerback Kris Boyd was partying with a pair of teammates at a trendy Manhattan nightclub when things turned sour in a confrontation with a rowdy group of patrons — leaving the player with a bullet in the gut , law enforcement sources said Monday.

Boyd, 29, was out on the town with Gang Green line backer Jamien Sherwood and wide receiver Irvin Charles at Sei Less Asian Fusion nightclub on West 38th Street early Sunday when a gang of wisecrackers began making fun of their fancy duds — making Boyd uneasy with the “vibe”, according to sources.

As the athletes made for the exits around 2 a.m. a scuffle broke out on the street outside and shots were fired — with one slug striking Boyd in the abdomen even as the crowd scrambled, the sources said.
