OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – The Orlando Pride and Orlando City Soccer are engaged in negotiations with Osceola County that could lead to the professional women’s team relocating to Osceola County, officials said.

County commissioners are scheduled to vote on a measure that would set the framework for additional development at Osceola County Heritage Park.

Osceola County already maintains a partnership with Orlando City Soccer and operates practice fields at Heritage Park. County officials described the vote as a procedural step that, if approved, would establish the framework for an expanded agreement outlining timelines and components of the project — including the eventual relocation of the Pride and possible construction of an on-site hotel.
