Diane Ladd ‘s cause of death has been publicly revealed.

The actress sadly passed away at the age of 89 earlier this month on November 3, and now the death certificate has confirmed the cause of her passing.

The certificate confirms that her cause of death was “acute on chronic hypoxic respiratory failure,” per People.

She was dealing with an interstitial lung disease for months prior, per the report. That is when the muscles in the esophagus don’t move food and liquids as they should.

“Esophageal dysmotility” was also cited as a significant contributor to her passing. She was cremated on November 10, per the certificate. RIP.
