CO Troy Fondie (Orr) reports a very quiet week with few hunters observed and fewer deer harvested. Wolf reports continue, as does reports of signs of these animals in the field. Area forest roads were checked with little activity noted.

CO Sean Cannon (Cook) reports there continues to be less deer hunting activity and hunters gave mixed reports on deer numbers. He responded to a report of a doe shot from County Highway 22 and left in a private field; anyone with information on this is encouraged to report it.

CO Aaron Larson (Tower) checked on deer hunters and helped locate a lost hunter. He also investigated illegal taking of deer, trespass complaints and spruce top theft.
