Deputies have made an additional arrest after a man was shot and killed in Buncombe County, North Carolina, on Friday.
Just before 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, deputies with the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office responded to a call for service at Oak Terrace Road .
When deputies arrived, they found a person who had died. The victim was later identified as 44-year-old Jonathan Torres.
On Saturday, the sheriff's office announced the arrest of 18-year-old Izaiah Quinn Smith-Sheridan of Asheville. He was charged with first-degree murder.
Buncombe County Detention Facility
On Friday, Sheridan was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Center under a $100,000 bond.
On Sunday, 37-year-old Cory Robert Mitchell Garrison of Asheville was arrested in connection with the investigation.
