Two new express toll lanes in each direction are set to open early Saturday in the McLean area.

It has been years of construction here basically from the Dulles Toll Road past Georgetown Pike and up to the American Legion Bridge. But this weekend — these new lanes open up.

The groundbreaking for these new express toll lanes was all the way back in March 2022.

“I spent many a day — sitting right there in traffic trying to get somewhere,” Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin said.
