GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Moberg family may not be from Michigan, but as Henri and Everet have shown, hunting is a universal language.
“We just came from Virginia,” said Henri Moberg.
“I shot my buck on Saturday morning,” said Everet Moberg. “It was, think it's the fourth deer that I got with my bow. It's a, it was a little spike. And, yeah, it came in 10 yards, and I shot it.”
While Henri used a firearm and Everet used a bow, both of them decided to donate their deer to Michigan Sportsmen Against Hunger, an organization that donates venison to food banks and those in need.
“We got so many donated deer at first," said Gina Ziegler. "We just started calling our church, and they filled up one freezer and gave them enough meat to fill two freezers. Now we're at City Impact filling them up
