The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said it has arrested a man who is accused of firing his gun at an “afterparty” on Jacksonville’s Eastside that left four people injured.

JSO arrest reports reveal that Gregory Gardner, 29, was taken into police custody for discharging his firearm in public and exposing another person to personal injury following a gathering at A. Philip Randolph Boulevard around 1 a.m. on Sunday.

The incident began, according to JSO, when a group of teens threw a party after attending the Jacksonville Fair. During the party, there was a fight that broke out inside, but was broken up by security, which ended the party as people began being kicked out.
