The U.S. men's national team will close out the year with a friendly against Uruguay on Tuesday at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla.
Even without some of its most important players, the USMNT managed to defeat Paraguay 2-1 on Saturday in Chester, Pa.
Gio Reyna and Folarin Balogun scored the goals, with the former finding the net with the USMNT for the first time since March 2024. Balogun, meanwhile, made it three goals from his last four USMNT matches.
After a disappointing 2-0 defeat to South Korea in September, the U.S. has now bounced back with three wins and a draw in its subsequent four matches.

The November window will be the last of 2025 for Pochettino's side, who will next gather in March for reported friendlies against Portugal and Belgium. Those matches will be Pochettino's last chance to see his side before picking his World Cup squad.
The game against Uruguay will be a rematch of last summer's Copa América group-stage finale in Kansas City, which Uruguay won 1-0 to see the USMNT crash out of the tournament. That was the final game for the USMNT under Gregg Berhalter, who was sacked and eventually replaced by Pochettino in the fall.
Uruguay is coming off a scoreless draw against Mexico on Saturday in Torreón.
