COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Gas prices are up a little bit in the Midlands.
According to Gasbuddy, the price of a gallon of regular has increased by four cents in the past week.
That brings the average to $2.71 a gallon.
Experts say refinery maintenance is behind the increase and they anticipate a drop before the Thanksgiving and Christmas travel seasons.
