SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - Community Partnership of the Ozarks will open a new day center for people experiencing homelessness in Springfield.

The organization will launch New Day, a facility offering services for homeless adults including access to showers and healthcare. Clients will also find mental health support, legal aid, and help with housing connections.

Leaders at CPO said New Day will help address the growing need for accessible, relationship-centered resources.

“Our staff will be building relationships with folks that come to New Day,” said Community Partnership of the Ozarks’ Janet Dankert. “We’ll be doing outreach into the community to try to reach new folks who are experiencing homelessness, but also people that we know and encouraging them to take advantage of the services
