Footage has been circulating on social media of a man being pepper sprayed at the Manchester Christmas markets.
The video shows a police officer spraying the man at close range on November 7.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) has said that the man was sprayed during the course of an arrest and that 'no misconduct issues have been identified'.
The force says the man has since been charged with common assault, criminal damage, resisting arrest and racially aggravated harassment.
Videos being shared online appear to show a cyclist interacting with a security guard and police officer at the markets in Piccadilly Gardens.
