$100K Mega Millions ticket sold in Sandy Lake as $983M jackpot hits in Georgia

SANDY LAKE, PA – A Mega Millions ticket worth $100,000 was sold in Mercer County for Friday’s drawing, just before the game’s nearly billion-dollar jackpot was finally claimed in Georgia.

The winning Pennsylvania ticket matched four of the five white balls — 1, 8, 11, 12, 57 — plus the yellow Mega Ball 7. It was purchased at Kristyak’s Korner, located at 3294 North Main Street in Sandy Lake Borough. The store will receive a $500 bonus for selling the prize-winning ticket.
