A Pueblo man was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole Nov. 17 for the murder of Justin Lee Sapeda.

Joseph Rodriguez, 36, was convicted by a jury on Nov. 14 of first-degree murder and tampering with evidence in the early hours of Christmas Day 2024. The conviction came after a two-week trial and four hours of jury deliberation.
