As part of Victims of Communism Week, an initiative introduced by Miami-Dade County School Board Member Danny Espino and unanimously supported by the entire School Board, Miami Springs Senior High School welcomed Ambassador Armando Valladares as a distinguished guest speaker.

Victims of Communism Week is observed across the district to honor the more than 100 million people who have suffered under communist regimes worldwide.
