Round Rock officials celebrated the grand opening of the Lakeview Stage and Pavilion on Nov. 15, one of the first major amenities completed in a multi-year overhaul of Old Settlers Park .

The event featured a live performance by singer Allen Stone, a ribbon-cutting with City Council members, Parks and Recreation officials and other community leaders, and a lineup of local vendors offering food and drinks.

A large crowd gathered to dance and experience the new venue and stage, followed by with a fireworks finale over the lake.

The Lakeview Stage and Pavilion are part of a broader $147 million, voter-approved bond program aimed at modernizing Old Settlers Park and preparing it for the region’s rapid growth.
