SAN FRANCISCO ( KRON ) — A Contra Costa County woman is facing federal charges after allegedly assaulting two flight attendants while flying to San Francisco International Airport in late June, the U.S. Department of Justice said Friday.
Reshma Kamath, 40, of Bethel Island, was indicted by a federal grand jury on two counts of interference with flight crew members. She also faces one count of assaulting, resisting or impeding a federal officer and one count of interference with security screening personnel.
According to the indictment, which was unsealed on Thursday, Kamath was flying on board Air India flight 173 from Delhi,
