1Philadelphia player wins $200K Powerball prize with ticket sold at mini market
PHILADELPHIA, PA – A Powerball ticket purchased in South Philadelphia is now worth $200,000 after matching four white balls and the red Powerball in Saturday’s drawing, thanks to the Power Play option.
The winning ticket was sold at T&R Grocery Mini Market, located at 1526 South 4th Street. The numbers drawn were 6, 7, 12, 47, 53, and the Powerball 21. The player had opted for the $1 Power Play, which multiplied the original $50,000 prize by four, bringing the total to $200,000. The retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
This win came in a drawing that saw over 54,200 Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball tickets win prizes. Of those, more than 11,600 were purchased with the Power Play
