Park Synagogue will host Gayle Horwitz as scholar-in-residence at its Nov. 22 Women’s Shabbat.
Horwitz is director of education policy for the American Jewish Committee. She will speak on the topic “Hope is Mandatory: Surprising Lessons from the Frontlines of Fighting Antisemitism.”
Services will begin at 9:30 am, with Horwitz’s address at about 11. Following services at noon, she will continue her dialogue at a lunch and discussion. The lunch and discussion is $25 per person. Prepaid reservations for the lunch are required by Nov. 17 through parksynagogue.org/events .
