During a Q&A session to promote "Wicked: For Good," Ariana Grande hinted that the film — which adapts the second and final act of the Tony-winning stage musical — isn’t necessarily the end of the story for herself and her castmates, including Cynthia Erivo and Jonathan Bailey .
“If we’ve learned anything from Cher , we can count on there always being another farewell tour,” she said during the event in Los Angeles Nov. 15, as seen in a video on her Instagram page. “So I don’t think anyone’s going anywhere.”
However, when asked if her statement was confirmation of a third movie in the franchise, the “No Tears Left to Cry” singer replied, “I don’t know.”
