Police and ambulances have rushed to a McDonald's in Staffordshire this evening.

Eye-witnesses said they spotted around 10 marked cars and two ambulances at the fast food restaurant at Stafford Trade Centre in Stafford. A person said they feared "something serious" had happened as the restaurant was closed and the windows taped up.

The Mirror has contacted Staffordshire Police and the West Midlands Ambulance Service for comment.
