BOISE, Idaho – A potential vote discrepancy in Elmore County has prompted a review by the Idaho Secretary of State's Office. The issue emerged after the Elmore County Clerk's Office reported a mismatch between the number of ballots cast and the number of voters in the November 4, 2025, election.
Following a review, it was found that about 300 ballots were not tallied in the final results. Secretary of State Phil McGrane expressed concern over the situation.
"We are taking this matter seriously and will pursue every available path to ensure the will of the voters is accurately reflected in the results," McGrane said. "Every vote matters, and we are committed to the accuracy and integrity of Idaho’s elections."
