Colman Domingo roared onto this red carpet.

The Academy Award nominee was the epitome of elegance at the New York City premiere of Wicked: For Good on Nov. 17 as he channeled his character of the Cowardly Lion on the red carpet.

Colman struck a pose in a Dolce & Gabbana look with a brown fur coat which he paired with simple tan dress pants and a low cut v-neck shirt. The 55-year-completed the look with a pair of shiny dress shoes and gold jewelry.

And director Jon M. Chu knew that bringing Colman into the mix with costars Ariana Grande , Cynthia Erivo , Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum would be an incredibly fashionable affair, joking with Entertainment Tonight in October, “That’s the Met Gala.”

But it wasn’t just Colman’s style
