BUSHLAND, Texas (KFDA) - The Bushland Lady Falcons volleyball team will compete for their ninth state championship title Friday, seeking their third consecutive championship in Class 3A Division I.
Bushland swept all three opponents in the first round before meeting Peaster in the regional finals, winning in four sets to advance to the state semifinals.
The Lady Falcons advanced to the state championship game for the sixth straight season after defeating Ponder in five sets during the state semifinals in Wichita Falls Saturday. They will face the Goliad Tigerettes for the second consecutive year in the championship game.
