TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily) — Tempe is looking to reduce the number of crashes by dropping the speed limit on seven streets in the East Valley city.

Public input started on Monday for the proposed speed limit changes after Thursday’s presentation.

Here are the seven roads that are being looked at:

Broadway Road :

• Reduce the 45 mph speed limit to 40 mph from Terrace Road to the east city limit

• Also reduce the 45 mph speed limit to 40 mph from Priest Drive to the west city limit

Priest Drive :

• Reduce the 45 mph speed limit to 40 mph from Alameda Drive to Baseline Road

Guadalupe Road :

• Reduce the 45 mph speed limit to 40 mph from city limit to city limit

Veterans Way/Fifth St :

• Reduce the 30 mph speed limit to 25 mph from University Drive to College Avenue
