PITTSBURGH —
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase has been suspended for one game after he was caught on video appearing to spit on Steelers cornerback Jalen Ramsey Sunday.
Ramsey said Chase's action led to him punching the Bengals wideout, resulting in his ejection from Sunday's game. Advertisement
It happened early in the fourth quarter, just minutes after the two players were involved in a scuffle that resulted in personal foul penalties being called against each of them.
Ramsey was the only player disciplined in the game for his punch, which led to players from both teams coming into attempt to separate them. Ramsey's ejection came after his second personal foul penalty of the game.
