OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The opening round matchups of the NAIA Volleyball Tournament were announced Monday.
Three Nebraska schools qualified, and each will host the first round: national No. 4 seed Concordia (Seward); No. 6 Bellevue; and No. 20 Midland (Fremont).
Bellevue (26-4) welcomes Columbia College (Missouri) for a 1 p.m. CT first serve on Saturday, Nov. 22. The Bruins secured their 10th straight national tournament appearance — and 17th in the past 19 seasons — after finishing as the Frontier Conference Tournament runner-up.
This season marks Bellevue’s 18th overall trip to the national tournament and its 15th opening round match, where the Bruins are 11-3 all-time and have advanced to Sioux City in 11 of those appearances.
Midland (18-10) will also host in the first round, drawing
