Guwahati : On the first birthday since his untimely passing, the people of Assam came together to pay a touching tribute to Zubeen Garg, the beloved singer and cultural icon. The commemorations began at midnight outside his residence in Kahilipara, where devoted fans gathered to sing his cherished songs, display creative tributes, and release sky lanterns, symbolising the light he continues to shine on music and culture. Zubeen’s wife, Garima Saikia Garg, joined the outpouring of affection, highlighting the deep bond he shared with his community.
