Police are investigating a threat made to Salem Academy Christian Schools on Nov. 17.
Salem Police spokesperson Sgt. Jonathan Hardy said 911 dispatchers received a call at about 12:13 p.m. from someone making "threats of violence" toward the school.
Patrol sent several units to the school on Lancaster Drive and nearby area and remained on scene for more than an hour.
Police said the threat appears to be unsubstantiated, but an investigation is ongoing.
Salem Academy Christian Schools superintendent Tim Peterson said in a statement the school was safe at all times and was never in lockdown.
Salem Academy teaches kindergarten through 12th grade. There are 803 students enrolled for the 2025-26 school year.
