Actor Piyush Mishra has joined the growing list of industry voices calling out the rising entourage culture in Hindi cinema. After filmmakers like Karan Johar and Farah Khan recently raised concerns about actors travelling with massive teams that inflate production costs, Mishra said he finds the South film industry far more grounded and free from such “hang-ups.”
Speaking to Curly Tales , Piyush recalled how warmly he was treated while working on 'Indian 2' with filmmaker S. Shankar. “He is such a big director, but he came to introduce himself to me. I thought, such a big person, and he’s speaking so humbly. The culture there is amazing,” he said.
