CEDAR Co., Iowa (KWQC) - 3 people were injured in a head-on collision near West Branch Monday evening.

Around 6 p.m., a Jeep Renegade was travelling west when it crossed the center line and hit an eastbound Chevy Silverado head on, according to Iowa State Patrol.

Troopers said the crash caused the road to be blocked off in both lanes.

The three people involved, Ryan Butler, 39, Dillon Williams, 45, and Brian Laschke, 43, were injured and taken to University of Iowa hospital, according to troopers.
