Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Tuesday said the state government is planning a new IT city in Bidadi, with leaders from several countries expressing interest in investing billions of dollars in Bengaluru.
Bidadi is a town situated on the Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway, where the Karnataka government plans to make Greater Bengaluru Integrated Township (GBIT).
Speaking to reporters at his Sadashivanagar residence ahead of the Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025, he said delegations from multiple countries are keen on expanding their footprint in the state.
