Los Angeles: Filmmaker Joseph Kosinski has expressed strong interest in directing a sequel to F1, the Brad Pitt-starrer that released in June and went on to become the actor’s highest-grossing film.

The film featured Pitt as Sonny Hayes, a veteran driver returning to the track three decades after a near-career-ending accident. Kerry Condon also starred in a key role.

Speaking during Contenders Film Los Angeles, Kosinski told Deadline that he “would love” to continue Hayes’ story.

“I personally would love to see what other adventures Sonny Hayes has in his future,” he said.

“I’d love to see what’s happened with the APXGP team and Joshua Pearce, and see how his career goes, so I would love to be able to tell another chapter in that story. It’s something we’ve just started kind of dreamin
