Eraviperoor (Pathanamthitta): Divyapriya is celebrating an unexpected birthday gift - her selection as the LDF candidate for the Koipuram Block Panchayat. The announcement came on Sunday, the same day the B.Tech student turned 21. She will contest from the Nannoor division in Pathanamthitta.

A seventh-semester student at Saintgits College of Engineering, Pathamuttom, Divyapriya is preparing for her university examinations. She said that, alongside her studies, she now needs to make time to file her nomination and begin door-to-door campaigning. She added that she sought the blessings of her teachers immediately after receiving the news of her candidacy.
